Monty by Debbie Boon

Monty by Debbie Boon is  from a stunning collection of wildlife artworks by a remarkable artist with a very distinctive style. The love of cow artworks has grown and grown over the years, with their doleful eyes and in many cases with a touch of humour.  Debbie Boon’s latest release, Monty (the highland cow) is a great follow up to The Highlander.

The artworks in her collection are presented on canvas board, which requires no glass when framing, with two images remaining on paper and conservation mounted.    As Fine Art Framers, we are able to offer competitive framing.   Other frames are available from our extensive range of mouldings.   Should you wish a different frame from the one shown on the image, please contact the Gallery.

The collection offers art of Stags, Hares, Dogs, Birds and a truly stunning horse.   View the limited edition print collection.  View Debbie Boon

Monty, by Debbie Boon

Whether painting animals, flora & fauna, or portraits, Debbie aims to capture and convey her personal experience of the subject through colour, light and texture. Working on canvas, she uses heavy bodied acrylics and glazes, working quickly at the initial stage to block in the main elements of the composition and then applying layers of paint to create texture. In this way she is able to create original artworks, that have an energy and vibrancy which reflects the ‘joie de vivre’ she feels when faced with a subject that captures her imagination. Her latest work has the ability to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary settings and graces the walls of numerous boutique hotels, including Michael Caines signature restaurant in the Royal Clarence Hotel in Exeter.
