About Mary Shaw
Mary had a love of painting and drawing from her very early years. At 13 years of age, she started to receive commissions for her landscape and floral paintings. She continued to develop her artistic skills and has had several successful exhibitions throughout the UK.
Mary is married with two daughters and has lived for a time in Zimbabwe and Cape Town. Mary established herself as an artist in Africa, where her work is well know. During her time in Africa, she developed a love of wildlife and since her return to England has found an abundance and variety of European Wildlife. To Mary this became a fascinating and interesting subject, partcularly as many species are now endangered.
Her paintings are acclaimed for the attention to detail and accuracy. Mary has been invited to exhibit at some important venues over the coming year and her work will be available for sale at selected art galleries.
