Nicky Litchfield Animal Artist

Nicky Litchfield is a British Artist, who as a child Nicky spent her weekends and summers at her grandparents farm. It was there that her love of animals began. Now, a professional artist, she paints from her studio in the picturesque village of Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley. She can often be found out and about sketching with her companion, Max the dog, by her side.

The charm and light-hearted humour that this artist brings to her character’s is very evident and certainly brings a smile everytime. The traditional subject matter such as sheep, hares, donkeys, foxes and livestock are at the heart of her artist paintings, which she creates mainly in pastel.  With a playful use of line and colour she produces delightful, contemporary artworks full of character and charm.
