Peter Rodgers Art joins the gallery’s cityscape portfolio. First of all, the debut art collection of signed prints by Demontfort Fine Art were a great success within the gallery. Hence we are pleased to now offer Peter Rodgers originals and framed art.
Peter’s powerful and evocative paintings present a world filled with reflections and shadows. Certainly his distinctive style brings to life cities ranging from New York to Newcastle. A population of rain-swept, umbrella toting figures hurrying along slick pavements which reflect the lights of the city back out of the canvas. Inspired by memories of childhood visits to Newcastle Quayside with his father, hence the paintings of transatlantic liners.
Peter lives and paints in his studio in Newcastle. Due to a series of sell-out solo exhibitions in the north of England he has moved on to success in London and beyond. His work now hangs in Europe, Canada and the USA.
