Sean was born in 1963 in Yorkshire. When his father infamously stole a painting by LS Lowry, little did Sean think he would become an acclaimed artist himself.

His father stole a painting depicting St Hilda’s Church from a public art gallery. When he was arrested by police after the theft, he had a ransom letter with three demands. 1. The gallery should have a better alarm system, 2. The gallery should be opened on Sundays, 3. The Mayor should raffle his underpants for charity!
Sean holds regular exhibits in his native north east and has been the subject of BBC TV.
